Alex Brunner

Alex received his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth college, completed medical school at Case Western Reserve University, and finished an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  Shortly after finishing his residency, Alex and his family travelled to Peru to serve at a mission hospital that reaches out to a Quechua population in the Peruvian Andes.  Alex has worked at Mercy Community Healthcare since their return to the US and currently works with Mercy at their satellite clinic in Lewisburg, TN.  Alex is married to his beautiful wife, Laura.  They have six children, each one a unique blessing.  They are all homeschooled, with the oldest two children being a part of the Academy tutorial, where Alex is a board member.  Although Alex and Laura are both originally from Ohio, they have loved their time in the middle TN area.  They are thankful to be part of a wonderful church and enjoy the pastoral life as they tend to their sheep and cattle and many pets.
