She practiced as a RN for 10 years in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Sara met her husband, Todd, a Nashville native, a few months after moving to town, and they married in July 2002. They have three children (Owen, Zachary & Eleanor). Todd & Sara have home schooled for 12 years. Their sons have attended The Academy Tutorial for five years, while their daughter has hoped to attend since the day her brothers began! Sara enjoys most anything outdoors- walking, camping, hiking, skiing, swimming, and traveling. Sara has volunteered at Vacation Bible School for nearly 20 years, taught children of various ages at Community Bible Study, and substitute taught often at Foundations Christian Academy. She loves Jesus, her family, and teaching/learning alongside kids of all ages!
